This is a beautiful rendition of my Grandfather Jose Moreno. However, it is not how I remember him. I remember "My Tata" as a vivacious old man with a lot of spirit. I was still quite young when Tata passed away in 1965. However, everytime he strolled by me, I felt the touch of his hand on my head. A significant touch as if to reassure me that everything was good.

I would watch my dad interacting with my kids. Time would revert back to 1965. I would see dads hands gently yet confidently rubbing his hand through their hair. I would see my kids, each and every one of them look up into my dads face and say "Hi Tata". Everything was good.

Time moves along so quickly. I don't seem to remember these stories until I see them reoccuring in my present day life. I am happy to put them down and hope that some day when I walk the halls of my home and visit with my Grandchildren, I will be able to provide the touch once given to me and my children. Everything is good.
