I am certain that it all started with a dream. What would it take to advance the rankings of the ASU Golf program? How could we do it? Who could help us? If not at ASU, this dream resounds through every university throughout the United States. With funds llimited to the University, a champion is needed to move things along. Sometimes dreams remain just that. In this case, with the assistance of Fleming and Sandra Norvell, The dream became a reality one beautifull day March 28th, 2007.
The Beginning
Artists renditions were secured through engineering plans.

Chapter One
Alumni and friends contributions were secured as well. Confidence was attained and ground was broken.

Chapter Two
Construction was smooth and all involved continued to support the cause being championed by the Norvell family. I am thrilled to be associated with such a fine institution as Augusta State University. More so however, I am proud to be friends with Fleming, a man who has taken his hard work and good fortune and shared it with those who could truly use the assistance.

Construction remained smooth and steady throughout the year and one half. It was certain that the quality of construction would fulfill the goal of the initial artists rendition.
Chapter Three
This was no accident. The nails, mortar, bricks holding this facility together bare the names of people who also shared the passion and dream to make this golf house a reality.

Chapter Four
A dedication and a ribbon cutting ceremony that was welcomed by a beautiful spring day. I wish I could have been there.

Congratulations Fleming and Sandra - A job well done!
