2007 Shea Silverado Classic - The Year of Verdoorn and Shea
|
Boy was it! This years Champion Ron Verdoorn played as a man posessed. He fought off a valiant run by Pat Shea, Don MacMillan and Michael Grassi. Ron's two under par 214 was good enough for a 5 shot victory. Pat Shea left nothing to chance winning the gross division. On his 54th hole Pat blasted two of the finest shots this golfer has ever seen to 15 feet of the hole. Pat's two put birdie locked the low gross at 232. Again the big winners at this years Silverado classic were the charities. Thank you to Phyllis, Mike and the entire Shea family. Looking forward to 2008!!
